THE CAVE CLUB – Relocates To New Venue

THE CAVE CLUB

THE MOTH CLUB – VALETTE ST, HACKNEY E9

SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 2015

LIVE BAND: FAST CARS

The Cave Club, one of London’s most loved and revered underground nights, has just announced that it is set to relocate to a new venue in East London in September.

After a very successful monthly residence at the 100 Club, the Cave will move to The Moth Club in Hackney on Saturday the 12th of September 2015.

The night will see Cave founder and resident DJ Rhys Webb of The Horrors joined on the decks by long time collaborators, Chris Hoodoo and The Voyeurs’, Sam Davies for a great selection of vinyl tunes that will celebrate the sound of Psych, Freakbeat, Garage Punk and Electronic Oscillations.

The opening will also feature a live performance, their first and maybe only show, from Fast Cars who feature a great line up of friends from Telegram, The Voyeurs and The Horrors.

‘THE CAVE CLUB’, VALETTE ST, HACKNEY, LONDON E9 6NU

Times: 9pm – 3am Entry: £6

Evolving from Southend’s infamous Junk Club, The Cave Club re-grouped and moved to the capital to set up at the Buffalo Bar in Islington in 2007. After seven era defining years of its monthly residency, Cave was forced to move to pastures new after it was announced that the venue on Highbury Corner was shut down in December 2014.

Since day one, The Cave Club has inspired many and been at the forefront of all things good in the capital’s ever changing nightlife. Not only the best place in London to dance, but bands such as TOY, The Voyeurs, Novella, Factory Floor, Telegram and Temples were invited to play their earliest shows to an unsuspecting, but eager club crowd.
