THE FAIM are excited to announce they will be main support for AGAINST THE CURRENT on their UK and European shows later this year. The 18-date tour will see THE FAIM hitting many cities for the first time, including Dublin. Full dates are as below.

The video follows front man Josh Raven and his love interest on the run from the law, eventually escaping before everything goes up in flames. It also showcases the band delivering a stellar live performance with the Welsh countryside as a fitting backdrop.

SUMMER IS A CURSE was co-written with Ashton Irwin from 5 Seconds of Summer and, according to Josh, “Is a reflection of our journey as band. Being placed out of Australia and into LA for the first time, we got thrown into this whole new world of exciting experiences and pressures. As frightening as it was, and no matter what our feelings of home, it became this tunnel vision of realising that we had this chance to make our dreams a reality. Our music video reflecting that exact feeling of freedom was so important for us”.

SUMMER IS A CURSE follows the massive debuts of the quartet’s previous releases SAINTS OF THE SINNERS and MIDLAND LINE, which collectively have over 1.6 million streams to date. All of the band’s songs were produced by the legendary John Feldmann [renowned for his work with Blink-182, All Time Low, Panic at The Disco and Good Charlotte] and have racked up support from VEVO, BBC Radio One, Upset, Rock Sound, TMRW, MTV, The Box. The Australian pop-rock quartet kicked off 2018 with an extensive global touring schedule, supporting Lower Than Atlantis, Sleeping with Sirens, PVMNTS, The Dangerous Summer and PVRIS across five tours and 54 shows. These included sold-out headline shows and some of the most talked about appearances at The Great Escape, Slam Dunk, Camden Rocks and Download festivals. The band now return to the UK and Europe later in the summer for tours with Sum 41 and Waterparks, performances at Reading and Leeds festivals, and the tour with Against the Current.

During the recording process of their debut album, THE FAIM teamed up with some of the scene’s biggest luminaries, including Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, Josh Dun from Twenty-One Pilots and Mark Hoppus from Blink-182. More music, and additional news, can be expected later this summer.
