The Farm Performing ‘Pastures Old And New’ Live This December

Over the years The Farm have been continually asked the same question ‘why don’t you perform a ‘Pastures Old and New’ set with the brass section?’  Well now The Farm are finally going to play the legendary songs which were favourites of John Peel and featured in sessions recorded for his show.

Songs such as Information Man, Steps of Emotion, Some People, Memories, Power Over Me, Somewhere, Hearts and Minds and Memories will be performed again in Leeds 16th and Liverpool 17th December. The songs once performed at legendary gigs in both cities will come alive again.

Peter Hooton said ”we have always loved the original set but we’ve never really had the opportunity to perform it again. When Simon Moran of SJM (who promoted many of our early shows) suggested we do the original songs and the original set we thought it’s now or never -we can’t wait the group is really looking forward to performing ‘Pastures Old and New’ again – get ready for lots of skanking!”

Tickets go onsale Friday 13th November at 9am
