The tour kicked off on February 5th in Luxembourg, preceded by the release of the new single “ See Me Now (Live At The O2 Arena, London) ” , recorded during thehistoric sold-out 2025 concert at the O2 Arena in London .
With “ See Me Now (Live At The O2 Arena, London) ” , the British band inaugurates a special year that celebrates the 20th anniversary of their debut album “ Inside In/Inside Out ” , a milestone of 2000s indie rock. The setlist includes, in addition to the most iconic songs such as “Naïve” and “She Moves In Her Own Way”, this intense version of “See Me Now”, one of the most personal songs in the group’s repertoire.
In “See Me Now ,” frontman Luke Pritchard addresses his father, who passed away when he was just three years old, with a question as simple as it is universal: “Would you be proud of me?” An intimate and touching ballad that, thanks to its emotional power and social media resonance, has become the most moving moment of their latest concerts, winning over a new generation of fans.
The single is accompanied by a striking music video directed byJulien Temple , which interweaves archive footage from Pritchard’s childhood with live footage from the London show, creating a visual tale that unites past and present in a single intense, cinematic narrative.
Following the success of their seventh studio album, ” Never/Know ,” one of their best chart hits in recent years, The Kooks are preparing to write a new chapter in their career, already looking ahead to their next album, which will feature a more psychedelic and rock ‘n’ roll sound. A powerful and emotionally charged return, it confirms the band as one of the longest-running and most beloved acts on the British indie scene.
