TOUR CONTINUES WITH PAUL BANKS (INTERPOL) DECEMBER RESIDENCY IN CALIFORNIA CONFIRMED SHOWS IN LOS ANGELES & SANTA ANA
“Let It Go” will be released through Columbia Records on Monday January 14th, 2013. The track premiered as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on Wednesday, November 21st. Before sharing “Let It Go” with the world, Zane Lowe stated, “Only two songs in and already we feel confident tipping The Neighbourhood for great things. This is classic Californian songwriting with hip hop in its back pocket.” All Things Go raved of “Let It Go, “It brings us a gloomier take of the hip hop street-infused surf rock we fell in love with last spring. The excellent new track gushes with the kind of introspection usually reserved for walking home alone and half-drunk along a one-lane highway with a waning autumnal moon lighting the way

Pigeons & Planes calls The Neighbourhood, who released their debut 5-track EP, I’m Sorry, in August of this year, “one of 2012′s bubbling bands.” The EP featured hot singles, “Female Robbery” and “Sweater Weather.”
The band is currently on tour in the U.S. with Paul Banks (tour completed with Temper Trap prior) and performed shows in London, Glasgow and Manchester. A December residency in California (Los Angeles & Santa Ana) was recently confirmed for gigs at The Bootleg Theatre (3 Sunday Nights starting December 9) and at The Constellation (2 Monday nights starting December 10). All shows are 21+ and FREE.
Formed by five friends in August 2011, The Neighbourhood are set to release their debut album, which was recorded in L.A. during the summer of 2012, in the spring of next year.
