Having sold over half a million albums to date, THE PIGEON DETECTIVES are back with the first single, ANIMAL, taken from their fourth studio album due later in the spring.
Zane Lowe played ANIMAL as his Hottest Record in the World on 22 January, with the track being made available immediately afterwards for free download via the band’s website. The single will also be made available for sale from all respected online retailers from 28 January.
“ANIMAL is one of those songs that we knew would work well in front of a live audience as soon as we started writing it. It’s an exciting tune with a raw, sinister edge to it, but it still retains all the catchiness usually associated with us.
