The Queers Announce UK Tour
March is a good month for pop-punk. The Queers are blasting over from the States and meandering the UK from Glasgow to London. The legendary boys have given us a good time for two decades with their catchy, tongue-in-cheek, summer punk anthems.
Pioneers of the genre, they have been described as “The Ramones meets The Beach Boys”. Songs about girls, booze, farting and having fun; their newest album, “Back To The Basement” certainly doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The tracks “I Knew GG When He Was A Wimp” and “Titfuck” are instant classics.
Since the album release in November, the boys have primarily focused on the live shows. Mike Park of Asian Man Records said: “We truly hope to put together a real good pop punk tour that would make the Ramones proud.”
With a widely successful US tour so far, the classic line-up of Joe Queer, Dangerous Dave and Lurch Nobody kick off in the UK from March, presented by HDP Group and Nottingham Punk & Ska Club.
