Sunday 17th February 2013 An extraordinary live show in one of Soho’s finest institutions

In 2012, Tim Arnold (aka The Soho Hobo) and his band premiered a new collection of songs at The Soho Theatre from his personal journey through London’s Soho.

Now on 17th February 2013, The Soho Hobo will now bring this extraordinary live show into one of Soho’s finest institutions: The Groucho Club.

The music is a mixture of Vintage London, Ian Dury nods, Tony Newley winks and just a touch of West End Swagger, bubbling from the Indie Britpop roots of this maverick solo artist. The show will also feature an original Windmill Theatre ’nude’ fan dance from 1964, re-enacted by burlesque performer Miss Giddy Heights.

The Soho Hobo will be wil be performing songs from his new album about Soho. Imagine a concept album about London’s Soho, written and produced by a singer songwriter who hails from 3 generations of Soho entertainers. The album which features guest appearances from Phil Daniels, Gary Kemp, Jessie Wallace, Ray Gelato, June Brown andsome of London’s finest musicians, is a collection of songs charting styles of music that include music hall, rock ‘n’ roll, soul, ska, and Britpop, all devoted to London’s square mile.
