When six teenagers decided they wanted more from their small hometown in Portugal, they realized they would have to do it themselves. Many years later, their efforts have built a new kind of arts organization—one that encourages local artistic expression, provides arts education for the next generation, and encourages a new kind of cultural exchange through their visiting artists series.
