THE VINTAGE CARAVAN | ÓSKAR AND ALEX DISCUSS THE PERSONAL EVOLUTION OF THE BAND FROM ‘VOYAGE’ TO ‘ARRIVAL’

THE VINTAGE CARAVAN are set to release their forthcoming album Arrival on May 18th and in anticipation of the new release, Óskar & Alex sat down to discuss how the new album came about, what it was like to record and much more. Today sees the release of the third trailer which covers the band’s personal evolution and how they got from their first album ‘Voyage’ to their new album ‘Arrival’.

THE VINTAGE CARAVAN recorded the follow-up to 2014’s critically acclaimed Voyage in an isolated fjord where they set up a studio in an old ballroom. The band enlisted the help of producer Axel ‘Flexi’ Árnason, who worked with them on their last album. The psychedelic artwork for the forthcoming release was created by renowned American artist David Paul Seymour (CLUTCH, GRAVEYARD, BLUES PILLS, EARTHLESS ETC). The band commented on their latest cosmic offering: “We are so excited for the release of the upcoming album. It’s definitely a step forward for us musically and we are incredibly happy with how natural the recording process was and how well all of the songs turned out. Get ready for Arrival!”
