THEM BRUINS RELEASES
‘HEADING FOR THE HARROWS’ VIDEO
+ SYDNEY SINGLE LAUNCH
It’s been a wild ride for Them Bruins in 2015. With the release of their single ‘Walk A Line’ and East Coast Tour already behind them, they now release a close-up glimpse of their charismatic live presence in video for ‘Heading for the Harrows’.
At a precise three minutes, ‘Heading for the Harrows’ is sharp, short and shoots right for the jugular with its distinctive driving guitar riff and singer Joel Griffith’s gritty chorus falsetto.
With countless head shots showing lead Griffith’s character driven prowess in a more intimate way than ever, the video for the song a surefire way to get closer to these boys than ever before.

Things are still buzzing overseas with the band recently reaching the top 10 on the US FMQB subModern charts and receiving airplay in the Netherlands. Their previous singles ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Outrun The Future’ received solid airplay on triple j and they’re taking over community radio airwaves around the country with their no holds barred style.
Them Bruins are clearly a band on a mission to riot and they’re not making any apologies. The band recently slayed a support slot for Harts in Melbourne and they play a Sunday night set at Frankie’s Pizza in Sydney this weekend.
“Heading for the Harrows is a pumping, fuzz-driven number, rocking a Muse-like vibe.”
“…an all-encompassing sound that you can see rattling the roller door and really pissing off the neighbours.”
“Yup. This is the good shit. Total McLusky meets At The Drive In vibes.”
– Gemma Pike, triple j
“I might be late to this party but I sure hope it goes till the wee hours. Which is to say, I really like this.”
– Kyran Wheatley, triple j
“…their sound is menacing and ferocious and this song is the bastard child of a shotgun marriage between Bloc Party and Eagles of Death Metal. It will sit on your chest until you can’t breathe.”
“…you could play a single like this in a stadium, no probs.”
– Chris Cobcroft, 4ZZZ
