Theme Park – Two Hours (Released November 10th on Transgressive Records)

The latest single ‘Two Hours’ by Theme Park is set for release 12th November via Transgressive Records. It is taken from their 10” EP by the same name which will also feature three covers; ‘Wildest Moments’ by Jessie Ware, ‘Bloodbuz Ohio’ by The National, and ‘Ready For The Floor’ by Hot Chip. They are also about to go on tour in support of Bloc Party this October.

The song is has a bit of an indie post rock pop feel to it and is about coping with a feeling of social numbness while everyone around you seems to be having a pretty damned good time. The vocals are great with just enough angst to underplay the otherwise chipper music. The video is a little bit of a let-down being filled with the usual far too pretty to be real teens having silly amounts of fun at a party. 6/10
