This is the Kit: New Song and Video ‘Coming to Get You Nowhere’

Greetings friends.

Our new song ‘Coming to Get You Nowhere’ is released today.it comes with a video made from footage of our friend Dani’s car getting stuck on a steep bit of slope.

It felt like a fitting story to go along with this song which is in part about the ways we get stuck and need to ask for help to get unstuck sometimes.

Been missing the band big time these days so making this video has been almost like hanging out with them again. Kind of. Nowhere near as good as the real thing but a comfort all the same!

‘Coming to get you nowhere’ is taken from our new album ‘Off Off On’ and i can hardly believe it but we’re nearly out of green LP copies,  so if you were hoping to nab one, maybe with some this is the kit playing cards, then now might be a good time to do it here

Finally, I have been on BBC 6 Music for two reasons recently. last year I had the huge honour and pleasure to travel to Casablanca with the wonderful Gemma Cairney and her BBC Sound Odyssey team to meet and work with the incredibly talented Asmaa Hamzaoui. you can listen again to the radio programme and even watch a bit of video about it here.

And i had the thrill of pretending to be an actual disc jockey on the radio when lauren laverne asked me to fill in on her recommends show, which you can listen back to here thats all the news for now.
