This is the kind of low-lit, low-key banger that soundtracks scorched days into balmy nights – it’s relaxed, fluid, and unconventional, and sees Misch cherrypick elements from a range of genres to sculpt something truly unique. The Line Of Best Fit

Wake up and soak up these silky smooth vibes – Nylon

“Multi-faceted South East London resident a purveyor of J Dilla-esque, boom bappy, unassuming beats that float off into some next level realm of relaxation; strumming guitars riff off beats you can step to, that float off into the abyss with claps-on-claps-on-claps” – Dummy Magazine

“Watch Me Dance finds Tom delivering comforting vocals over his groovy, relaxing instrumental” – Hypetrak

“Tom’s sound is defined by Dilla style beats, smooth jazzy guitar, and a soulful, vocal. it is obvious to see how he has built such a massive fanbase, and I look forward to hearing the entire EP” – Indie Shuffle

21 year-old South-East Londoner Tom Misch is in the midst of his first international, headline and sold out tour. The European leg of the tour kicks off 18th November and includes Village Underground which sold out in a few minutes. Tom has also unveiled the gorgeous video for single ‘Watch Me Dance’, which is taken from his recently released EP ‘Reverie’.

The ‘Watch Me Dance’ video has been directed by rising star Tom Ewbank with Jonny Cass assisting and features a piece of work from “temporary” artist Ed Stanbury, whose intricate sand images reflect the transitory nature of the world. A finished piece of work may only be visible for ten minutes before the ocean stretches out to reclaim her canvas, but according to Stanbury there is beauty in its brevity. A remix package for ‘Watch Me Dance’ will be announced shortly.

Having self-released all music to-date (Beat Tape 1, Beat Tape 2 and Reverie), multi-instrumentalist Tom Misch has built an auspicious online fanbase which includes; 150,000 – Soundcloud, 62,000 – Facebook, 25,000 – Instagram, 750,000 – monthly listeners on Spotify & he’s had over 20 million streams across platforms.

Tom’s music is an intrepid and invigorating adventure in sound, bursting with inventiveness. His last EP ‘Reverie’ was the most definitive moment of his career to date, foreign and colourful arrangements enticed even the most casual listener. “The reverie EP is a result of me wanting to take slightly more of a role as a songwriter and singer. It’s the first release I sing on every track and hopefully indicates the direction I want to go for my debut album,” says Tom about the EP. ‘Crazy Dream’ with Loyle Carner featured on the BBC ‘In New Music We Trust’ playlist and has been streamed over 1million times, with the video also racking up huge numbers.

London is bursting with creativity, new artists are refusing the conventional music industry model – they’re collaborating and releasing freely, driven by the power of the internet. Tom is part of a truly exciting scene which also includes rising stars such as, Loyle Carner, Carmody, Jordan Rakei, Zak Abel, Laura Misch, Barney Artist. Tom’s music has been championed by an eclectic array of supporters – from one of YouTube’s biggest dance music channels, Majestic Casual, to the likes of Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Clara Amfo and Jaden Smith. Plus, there’s the fact that Tom has earned the reputation as one of the best UK producers following remixes and reworks for the likes of Lianne La Havas, Mos Def and Busta Rhymes.

First recognised for his beats Tom Misch is fast becoming an equally revered singer songwriter and whose 2017 is looking exceptionally bright.
