Tove Lo is most definitely our girl, right? Exploring euphoria and melancholy, desire and doubt, Lo soundtracks the inner workings of the modern day mind. Navigating emotions in only the most chic way, the thirteen new tracks trace sharply observed writing with visceral, body-moving production.
The album was recorded between LA, Stockholm and a small Swedish fishing village. Named after the Latin for female mammal in heat, its a primal, propulsive exploration of instinct and individual freedom.

As in our latest blog piece on the sheer breadth of rock, many subgenres are woven together, often undecipherable from one another.
Thompson’s latest album is a prime example of the craftsmanship that goes into creating an acclaimed rock record. Employing a cast of old friends, false gurus and former selves, Thompson begins with bright Byrds-inspired jangle, swings through rowdier jaunts and lands on the blues.
Inventive, splintered, psychedelic solo, fast-moving sessions and deep-running songwriting. The album was made with Thompson’s longtime band, inquiring into the spirit under the guise of a rock record.

Traditional Irish folk songs meet psychedelic punk modernity in the debut album from the four brothers. Drawing inspiration from The Pogues, Lankum, Paul Brady and Andy Irvine, touring with the likes of The Scratch, old Celtic traditions are met with stories from the present, mixing the two to form something otherworldly and contemporary.
