TRAMPOLENE singer/songwriter Jack Jones’ spoken word pieces have already been described by Dr John Cooper Clarke as “Exceptional poetry, funny and depressing at the same time and how often can you say that.”
The mini-album, which was recorded live at Konk Studios and produced by Jack Jones & Josh Green, includes single ‘The Gangway’ which has picked up multiple plays at Radio One and is playlisted at Radio X. ‘Tom Hardy’ a paean to a mythical star’s mind-boggling achievements, inspired by the idle boasts of singer Jack Jones’ school friend in Swansea. A raucous live rendition of the Cure classic, ‘Friday I’m In Love’ (recorded for a Radio X Session) and acoustic heartbreaker ‘Letting You Down.’ ‘The Gangway’ and ‘Tom Hardy’ were mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Jamie T / Everything Everything).
TRAMPOLENE have toured continuously throughout 2015 and 2016 with stand out support slots with The Libertines, Buzzcocks, Peter Doherty, Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy and Carl Barat & The Jackals. This summer the band have performed at Y Not, Kendall Calling and Latitude Festivals and will be playing the following shows over the next few months, including a headline show at Koko, support to fellow Welshmen Pretty Vicious at Heaven and an
