The Tuesday Club release their debut album See You Next Tuesday on April 20th (Record Store Day).

Described as ‘Dad’s Army Spacerock, futurised revisionism and born at various junctures between 1957 and 1984, the age range and experience encased within this mysterious 8 piece, would put many of today’s more established reformers to shame. Reaction to their debut single ‘Dolly Dynamite’ this summer was huge. From widespread critical acclaim to Q Radio plays the music media were pretty much on board the good ship Tuesday Club from the off. The icing on the cake for their debut year? An exclusive Loaded TV set recorded at the end of 2012 and broadcast in the Morecambe and Wise slot on Boxing day, well what did you expect?

“A cheeky little tune” Q Radio

“If you want music with a bit of a spark, a ton of swagger and a heap of fun I suggest you join me in signing up to The Tuesday Club” Rhythm & Booze

“Flippin’ wonderful. Probably the shortest review I have ever written but it really says it all – I will repeat; Flippin’ Wonderful!” Andy Snipper – musicnews.com

“This is clever while staying absolutely exuberant, and The Tuesday Club are one of the most exciting acts I’ve heard all year.” AAA Music

“If Roxy Music were doing the Rocky Horror show, they’d sound like this” – Steve Honest

“It’s all about the music, we are deadly serious about our commitment to each other, but that certainly doesn’t mean we can’t do it with a smile”. enthuses front man Andreas Vanderbraindrain. “There’s too much pomposity, too much sucked in cheek blue steel ethic, especially in London. The Tuesday Club just play for the love and the joy, we set our phasers on FUN and go for it, it’s time for ‘New’ Glamour… that’s where 6ft chanteuse The Minx comes in darlings… ‘GLAMOUR with a capital G’

The whole band have a look and style that falls somewhere between The Rocky Horror show, Oh Boy!, Carry on Screaming, a BBC period drama and Dad’s Army. The Tuesday’s certainly give off a refreshing air of who cares, which has got to be worth something in today’s dark days of austerity!

The Tuesday Club are: Glabrous Fabulous – Thud Bass, Wasabi Penis – Heavy Lead, The Beautiful Wolf – Twang Bass, Andreas Vanderbraindrain – Vocals, Tittybar Telski -drums, The Minx -Vocals and Cowbell, J-Rod – Jangle lead, Jerry Berry – Keys

Ron McElroy releases his much-awaited debut solo single ‘World At War’ on April 22nd.

Ron has been blazing a trail on the live circuit over the last few years and has played thousands of shows and collaborated with many talented people such as Isabella Summers from Florence + The Machine, Sian Evans (Kosheen) and Juliette Lewis. Now he is finally stepping out on his own to share his extraordinary guitar skills and a voice that resonates through wood.

A travelling troubadour, Ron’s list of musical adventures could fill a book and one day maybe it will. In 2011 he met singer and legendary harmonica player Steve Lockwood and they busked their way through France and across Spain, picking up friends and musicians along the way. In Spain they reached a limit, seven performers if you count the fire breathers, travelling in a car with no roof and straw bails for seats. Summer ended and they returned to England. Teaming up with Singer/ Bass player Mike Michaels, they began a rolling tour of the UK playing, squats, free festivals, bars and parties at a rate of three or four gigs a week for the next couple of years.

Ron then moved to London and his travelling tales took another twist…playing guitar for a Stringfellows Bunny Girl, learning how to weld, playing guitar for Amber Bella Muse and for Trouble Over Tokyo were just a few side projects while he was penning his debut album.

Ron plans to follow on from the release of this single with his debut album “All Her Kisses” in autumn this year.
