Chicago Band Sign To Communion Records + Plot Immediate UK Live Plans.
“One of the most exciting new bands around…Fizzing with plenty of ramshackle charm and wild, rock’n’roll exhilaration” – NME
“It sounds carefully constructed yet close to falling apart, cocky yet unsure, raucous yet ravishing. Twin Peaks are getting a lot of people excited, and for once it’s deserved.” – The Guardian
“Twin Peaks have perfected the kind of songwriting that puts you in a practiced, happy headlock.” -Pitchfork
“Oozing with the usual brilliant cacophony of distortion…Damn fine” – DIY Magazine
“a confident old-school indie rock chug that should be beyond their years.” – Stereogum

Twin Peaks are very pleased to announce the release of Wild Onion, their second album, and their British first, on 1st September 2014.
A new single, I Found A New Way, will be released on 6th October to coincide with the band’s first visit to the UK.
Fresh from inking a deal with Communion Records, the young Chicago psych-rockers will release ‘Wild Onion’ on 1st September 2014 (following its 5th August release in the US through Grand Jury). It was produced by the band, alongside Chicago’s own Andrew Humphrey and Colin Croom.
The band will head over to the UK for their debut shows in October, including a headline show at Birthdays in London on the 8th October and a Rough Trade East in-store performance on the 6thOctober.
Twin Peaks released their debut EP in the UK, ‘Flavor’, through National Anthem earlier this summer, which followed the US only release of their basement recorded debut album, ‘Sunken’, in 2013.
The quartet—frontman Cadien Lake James, guitarist Clay Frankel, bassist Jack Dolan and drummer Connor Brodner – are all barely 20 years old, but their modern day Nuggets sound is imbued with the spirit of garage demigods Black Lips, Ty Segall, and Thee Oh Sees. There’s subtle nods to the likes of Tame Impala, The Pixies, and the classic guitar-guided pop music of old.
Having quickly cut their debut LP, 2013’s Sunken, in Cadien’s basement so they could sell it on tour, the band was excited to spend more time developing a new record, and it’s one that reveals a level of maturity beyond all the amp-singeing solos, ragtag rhythms and dizzying voices of three distinct singer-songwriters.
