Alt-pop sensation Chloe Star recently released the music video for her smash hit heartbreak-anthem, ‘call you back’. Born in Los Angeles, and based between Los Angeles and London, Chloe Star is a multi-faceted singer-songwriter, visual artist and tribal advocate. Her bold and self-assured soundscape has been championed by global tastemakers like Rolling Stone which included her track ‘Bad Habit’ in their 2025 Best New Music: Songs You Need to Know feature. She has been featured in CLASH Magazine, 1883 Magazine, EUPHORIA, and EARMILK. Chloe Star has performed at major festivals in the UK and the US including on the main stage at London Pride, New York Pride Festival, Back Lot Bash in Chicago, as well as events such as Out & Abt in New York and The Dinah in California.

Being raised between San Bernardino and Los Angeles, the 28-year-old Chloe Star traces her musical journey back to her Persian and Indigenous roots. As a pre-teen, she used journaling as an emotional outlet, in so doing discovering her love for expressing herself creatively.  Three years ago, in 2023, Chloe Star burst onto the alternative scene as a confident newcomer with a fresh sound. Since then she has built an ever-growing fanbase who revere the unparalleled authenticity and unfiltered emotion of her music. Regarding her influences, Chloe Star lists Amy Winehouse, Nirvana, Janis Joplin and YUNGBLUD as some of her favourites. Her music often gets compared to the likes of Paramore, Billie Eillish and YUNGBLUD, in the same vain ‘call you back’ is sure to strike a chord with fans of P!nk, Avril Lavigne and Paramore

With a punk attitude and comedic simulated violence with stunts coordinated by Nate Horowitz (SAG Stunt Coordinator), the newly released music video for ‘call you back’  plays out like murder mystery short film. Between quick cuts and upbeat punk drums, the music video tells the story of Chloe Star being cheated on, and the chaotic events that transpired around it. The song features a catchy chorus and a surprise dance recital in the middle of the video choreographed by Ryan Ramirez (who has credits for Christina Aguilera, Jessie Murph, JLO).

Chloe Star said: “The ‘call you back’ music video closely reflects the meaning of the song. It follows the moment I walk in on my girlfriend cheating, and the emotional spiral that follows. We had so much fun bringing it to life, working alongside incredibly talented creatives and stunt performers. The video captures the pain and intensity that comes with betrayal.”
