WAAX ANNOUNCES

TRI-STATE ‘I FOR AN EYE’ TOUR

+ BIGSOUND SHOWCASE

As ‘I For An Eye‘, the ferocious new single from WAAX does the rounds of the blogsphere and the radio-world, Brisbane’s hard-hitting four-piece are proud to announce a swift trio of shows to show off their intense and powerful live prowess.

Adding fuel to their already-brightly burning incline, they have also been added to the annual BIGSOUND Live lineup for 2015, a perfect inclusion in their schedule for the remaining half of the year which also includes the release of their debut EP.

Emerging late-2014 with ‘Wisdom Teeth’ and swiftly snaring a 2014 BIGSOUND showcase thanks to triple j Unearthed, the band quickly gathered a rabid fanbase as they mowed down rooms with the likes of Kingswood, The Delta Riggs and Stonefield. Now, with ‘I For An Eye’, they are stepping out on the back of their own steam. The song has already been added to spot-rotation on triple j,become a favourite on triple j Unearthed and landed at #1 on the AMRAP Metro Chart.
