Following on from the critically acclaimed ‘Bad Girl’ EP, singer/songwriter Whinnie Williams is back with new single ‘Too Strong’ released on 11th December 2015 via DATS Entertainment./ Sony Red. Co-written by Williams and powerhouse producers Future Cut (Lily Allen, Rhianna, One Direction) ‘Too Strong‘ is 3 minutes of pure pop perfection. Backed by a track dripping in melancholy, Williams sings in her sultry soulful tone painfully beautiful lyrics such as Drowning your sorrows, but they’ll learn how to swim….Deals with the devil, you know you’ll never win.”

Whinnie says of the single; This song is really special to me. I wrote it to highlight the struggle I think a lot of people, and men in particular, have in opening up about their emotions and always trying to face things alone. My dad inspired the song!”
As well as being blessed with the looks of Bardot and the voice of an angel, Whinnie

has impeccable credentials. She’s written for artists (including Madonna!) and collaborated with Professor Green amongst others. She’s recently graced the cover of 2 London fashion titles as well as becoming a sought after DJ and girl about town. Not bad for a girl from Broxbourne…

Whinnie has been working on her debut album (also produced by Future Cut), due for release 2016. Her distinctive sound can only be described as pure pop drama; combining heartfelt lyrics with delicious melodies, all accompanied by a large dollop of British HP sauce.

Imagine if Lana Del Ray were held hostage in a Hastings’ caravan for 12 months. She’s one part Bardot, the other part Del Boy; Barbarella chic cut with Babs Windsor cheek, Whinnie Williams is one of a kind.
