The White Raven "Wake Wait" New Single out now! (Bolero Recordings)
THE WHITE RAVEN
”Wake Wait”
(April 15 – Bolero Recordings)
The band members met over 10 years ago, but they didn’t form The White Raven until 2012. Since their debut single Headlights (2014), their singles have passed 1500000 streams on Spotify alone and the band have several acclaimed shows behind them.
The start of what would become their debut album came in October 2015.
-We went out to a cabin in the woods at Hallandsåsen and spent a week there together. We started to write a few songs on the first day already and the week gave us more than we expected. Although only one of
maybe six songs from that session are included on the album, it is necessary to kill your darlings too. From the woods we went down to our own cave in Gåsebäck and that’s where we recorded and produced the album. In our own world in a way.
First out of the ten tracks is the single ”Wake Wait”, a track that clearly shows the band’s development and simultaneously strikes the emotional tones that are The White Raven and their anthemic alternative rock.
– ” Wake Wait” is sort of about to feel concern for your fellow people, from both a small and a greater perspective. About being afraid of losing someone close and the impending feeling that life is out of your control.
”Wake Wait” will be released with both a lyric and an official video on all digital platforms on April 15, 2016.
