French dance-pop duo YELLE have shared two new remixes of their single “OMG!!!”, chilled out remix by Safetalk (video by Ouaijvoisouai) HERE and a fast-paced Mila Dietrich remake (video by Lambert Duchesne) HERE. The duo’s North American tour dates kick off in Orlando, Florida on October 30th, including stops in Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and ending with 4 shows New York (3 already sold out). “OMG!!!” was released earlier this year, following YELLE’s 2017 singles “Romeo”, “Ici & Maintenant (Here & Now)” and “Interpassion” shared in anticipation of a new EP (date tba).
On the Safetalk x Ouaijvoisouai “OMG!!!” collaboration the duo remarked: “It’s a chill remix with a numbing video. The sun is so heavy that it deletes the faces, on the beach of Anglet, in the South East of France. Wait, is it the sun or the society?
On the Mila Dietrich x Lambert Duchesne collaboration: “You have one mission: light up this fortress club so Donovan can come alive!”
This past summer, YELLE took the stage in New York at TED Talk’s TED Salon for an energetic performance of their singles “Interpassion” and “Ba$$in” HERE.
Their first single, “Je Veux Te Voir”, became the duo’s first official single in 2006 and became an indie sensation song internationally. Yelle’s debut album Pop Up was released in 2007 and spent nearly three years touring the world over in support of it before work on their second album began. Album number two, Safari Disco Club was released in the spring of 2011 and was followed by extensive international touring again. On their third album, Yelle worked with Dr. Luke and his team of producers. Though it was a little more focused than previous efforts, 2014’s Complètement Fou was still imbued with a fun-loving, anything-goes left-field pop outlook.
